Each of the ten topic areas above will give you a good understanding of what is involved in lead generation online. Below I’ve give you a flavour of each of the 10 topic areas:

A lead essentially is person who is interested in what you have to offer them. Once a person provides you with their name and email address they become a prospect. Generating leads online is all about finding the best places to connect with your leads and to know what they want when you find them! So the best leads are the one that want what you have to offer these are High Quality Leads.
2. Business Leads
A business lead is still a lead, but is lead for a particular business. The best business leads are the ones that are targeted so they are already warm to the product or service being offered.
3. Building Relationships Online
Before you can start to sell to your prospects you need to build a solid relationship online first. If you learn the secrets to this then you’ll find lead generation online a breeze. 4. Delivering Value Online
It is important to consider what answers your audience are asking and providing them with products and services that help to answer those questions and fulfill their needs. If you provide great value then your audience will want to come back for more.
5. Overcoming The Problems Of Generating Lead Online
The scary figures here is that somewhere between 90-98% of online businesses fail (this is industry dependent of course). So you need to be aware of what are the likely pit falls in generating leads to your business. This is usually more about the business owner than the product or service as other people with similar products and services are bringing in profits year after year.
6. Automated Lead Generation System
If you had to contact every lead yourself you’d soon find that this consumed all of your time. Therefore you need to put in place a system that automates your contact with people and starts to leverage your time and effort in lead generation online. The key here is to develop ways of enticing people to sign-up to your free offers and then get automatically put on your automated email database.
7. Maximising Your List
As all internet marketers will tell you ‘the money is in the list’. This is absolutely right. So you need to find out powerful ways to maximize your list once you have people subscribed to it. This will combine both building your relationship with your prospects and continually offering them value and products and services that are aligned to what they want.

This is centered around considering what online and offline marketing that you can put in place that complements the automated systems that you have put in place. Get this right and lead generation online with be an exciting and satisfying experience for you.
9. Lead Generation Sales
The forward thrust of all of your relationship building and rapport building will center around delivering great value to your customers. Once your prospects have trusted your work then you’ll be able to put in place a sophisticated sales process that includes tracking, monitoring and plenty of up selling. But the foundation of building effective lead management systems will determine your success at this final stage of the buying process.
10. Video Marketing Online
With YouTube emerging as the second most visited website after Google it shows us that our time invested in video marketing would be a useful activity. Video marketing has the added benefit of you being able to show that you are genuine and build rapport with you audience.
